The mission of Murray Development, LLC. and
the Fishing Cook is to provide a quality and instructional digital motion picture
combining saltwater fishing and house hold gourmet cooking.
We will explore the
conservative, common sense, environmental issues including the tag and release
programs. In a joint program with the Department of Natural Resources, we will
work on an extensive tagging program on the offshore and inshore species.
We will also work with the
artificial reefs off Charleston, South Carolina; Capers Reef, Charleston Near
Shore and Charleston 60. We will map the ocean floor and the layout of the reefs
using GPS and high power sonar. We will also video the reef for a visual aide.
After the data is gathered, we will edit the information and chart the landscape
of each reef and add video for DVD and CD-ROMs.
Also, we will reach out to the
community and bring fishing to the kids in the area.
We are setting up a program and will ask local fisherman to give a little of
their time and take a kid fishing.
