David Murray

David has grown up around the salt marshes of the low country in South Carolina and has fished all his life. He began his aquatic adventures in the creeks behind Isle of Palms at an early age and in 1977 graduated to the offshore waters of the Atlantic.

Around age three, David began his culinary adventures and from then on he has experimented with shrimp, oysters, blue crab, stone crab and all kinds of fish and other seafood's. He also works with the low country/soul-food cooking prevalent in the low country of South Carolina and he incorporates the styles of the Caribbean and Polynesia (Hawaiian). He has created a “Low Country & Island” style of food.

At age 13, David began offshore fishing and over the last 25 years has honed his technique and has learned and improved his fishing from other great fishermen.

David has spent most of his years fishing of the South Carolina coast and also the east coast of Florida, the Keys and the Abaco Islands of the Bahamas . When David is not filming, he can be found working on his cookbook and fishing manuals at the same time as he is fishing. He always has a legal pad and pencil in the boat.

David makes his home in Goose Creek, South Carolina with his wife Carol and his two children Tradd and Avery. You will see his children in certain section of the up coming pictures. David includes his family in as much fishing and outdoor fun as possible.
